We carry out R&D projects to develop products and environments that enable companies to count on safer and healthier workplaces. These projects range from developing devices for monitoring workers to designing machines, tools and workplaces.
Based on our acquired knowledge, we advise our clients in order to improve their workers’ well-being (promoting and maintaining health, improving comfort and satisfaction, etc.), productivity (improving performance and efficiency, risk prevention, etc.) and competitiveness (allowing for differentiation).
At IBV we give training in occupational healthcare to professionals in health and safety at work, mainly aimed at the evaluation and design of workplaces, machines and tools.
Considering that people’s health and safety at work is the responsibility of all the staff, we also carry out training and awareness-raising activities at all levels of the company so that the entire organisation is involved and committed to such an important aspect.
Aware that only a healthy worker can be an efficient worker, companies are becoming more and more committed to risk prevention and promoting health in the workplace as a way of improving workers’ well-being and increasing their productivity and competitiveness, allowing for differentiation among them.
In response to this need, at the Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV) we have the technology to assess ergonomic risks and recommend workplace design, as well as to diagnose and foster workers’ overall well-being.
