This document describes the IBV Privacy Policy relating to the application developed by the IBV for 3D foot reconstruction.
Respecting your privacy is an essential part of our development policy. At the IBV, we provide our services considering the most demanding privacy principles.
The IBV has developed a 3D foot reconstruction application that uses photographs of your feet using your smartphone. A collection of 3 photos of each foot is necessary for their 3D reconstruction and will only be used for this purpose.
The application uses the Avatar3D foot reconstruction service to reconstruct the 3D model of the foot. The Avatar3D reconstruction service is implemented in mobile applications using the API or the Avatar 3D framework. Our Privacy Policy describes our information management practices and explains, for instance, what information we collect and how this affects you, as well as what we do to protect your privacy.
«APPLICATION», «our» or «we» refer to the application provided by the IBV (Asociación Instituto de Biomecánica of Valencia).
Information collected
We collect personal data, which is stored, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Information provided
- Images of your feet. For the 3D reconstruction of your feet, we need 3 photos of each foot, from which we provide the 3D model of the foot using the Avatar3D service. These photographs are stored on our servers for a maximum period of 6 months, for the exclusive purpose of reviewing the correct 3D reconstruction. Under no circumstances do we store personal data or data that allows you to be identified along with these photographs. Your photographs are not linked to your personal data, but to an identification that does not identify you.
Information automatically collected
The application collects information from the device used by the users with the sole purpose of guaranteeing the correct 3D reconstruction of the foot. The information collected is only used for this purpose and is not shared with third parties.
- Information about the device. We collect information about the brand and model of the smartphone. We collect information about the operating system of the smartphone and its version. This information is collected with the sole purpose of improving the service in case we detect a problem with a specific version of a device or with a version of an operating system.
- We do not ask for your country; we obtain it from the IP address when our services are used. The IP address is never stored.
- Information about the use and recording. We collect information related exclusively to the use of the application. This includes the result of the 3D reconstruction of the foot and its anthropometric dimensions, information on the malfunction of the application and the diagnosis of such malfunctions.
- We do not use cookies for the operation of the application.
Information on third parties
- User information provided by others. We do not use any information about you obtained from third parties.
- Third-party services. We only use the Avatar3D foot reconstruction service. The Privacy Policy of the Avatar3D service is available on Privacy Policy of the Avatar3D Service
How we use the information
We use the information we collect only to ensure the proper operation of the application.
Information management
The information collected by the application is used with the sole purpose of ensuring the correct operation of the 3D foot reconstruction. The information collected is only used for this purpose and is not shared with third parties.
Legislation and protection
We may collect, use, save and share your information if we believe in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond in accordance with laws or regulations, legal processes or governmental requests; (b) enforce our Terms and Conditions or any other applicable terms or policies, including the investigation of any potential breaches; (c) detect, investigate, prevent and tackle fraud and other illegal activities, or any technical or security problems; or (d) protect the rights, property and safety of our users.
Our global operations
You agree to our information practices, which include the collection, use and processing of information, as described in this Privacy Policy, as well as the transfer and general processing of your information in the United States and other countries where we have or use facilities, servers, service providers or partners, regardless of where you use our Services. You acknowledge that the laws, regulations and rules of the country in which, in the case, your information is stored or processed may be different from those in force in your own country.
Your right to have your data deleted
You must ask the IBV to delete your data.

Include the identification references of the records you want to delete.
The data will also be automatically deleted by the IBV six months after they have been received.
Policy updates
We can modify or update our Privacy Policy. We will update the «Last updated» date at the top of this Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the application, you confirm that you agree to our Privacy Policy, including any changes. If you do not agree to our Privacy Policy and its changes, you must stop using the application. Please review our Privacy Policy periodically.
Information on data protection
Responsibility for data processing. ASOCIACION INSTITUTO DE BIOMECANICA DE VALENCIA (hereafter IBV) is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this form. Purpose and legal basis. The purpose of collecting data and information about the Interested Party is the foot 3D reconstruction to which this project refers. The legal basis for data processing is the agreement or relationship established, the consent of the Interested Party, as the case may be, and the legitimate interest.
Recipients. Third-parties may be recipient categories for research or R&D purposes. There are no international data transfers to third parties.
Rights. Right to access, correction, cancellation or erasure and objection, limitation of the processing, withdrawal of consent, which may be exercised at the addresses included below.

Este documento describe la Política de privacidad de IBV con respecto a la aplicación desarrollada por IBV para la reconstrucción de pies en 3D.
Respetar su privacidad es una parte fundamental de nuestra política de desarrollo. En IBV desarrollamos nuestros servicios teniendo en cuenta los principios de privacidad más exigentes.
IBV ha desarrollado la aplicación de reconstrucción de pies en 3D, que utiliza fotografías de sus pies obtenidas a través de su teléfono inteligente. La colección de 3 fotos de cada pie es estrictamente necesaria para su reconstrucción en 3D, y solo se utilizarán para este propósito.
Para la reconstrucción del modelo 3D del pie, la aplicación utiliza el servicio de reconstrucción del pie Avatar3D. La implementación del servicio de reconstrucción de Avatar3D en aplicaciones móviles se realiza mediante la API o el marco de Avatar 3D. Nuestra política de privacidad ayuda a explicar nuestras prácticas de manejo de información. Le explicaremos, por ejemplo, qué información recopilamos y cómo le afecta. También explicamos qué medidas tomamos para proteger su privacidad.
«APLICACIÓN», «nuestro» o «nosotros» se refieren a la aplicación ofrecida por IBV (Asociación Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia).
Información recopilada
Recopilamos datos personales; los datos de carácter personal se almacenan, de acuerdo con la legislación aplicable.
La información que usted proporciona
- Fotografías de tus pies. Para la reconstrucción 3D de sus pies, necesitamos tener 3 fotos de cada pie, de las cuales devolvemos el modelo 3D del pie usando el servicio Avatar3D. Estas fotografías se almacenan en nuestros servidores por un período máximo de 6 meses, exclusivamente para revisar la reconstrucción 3D correcta. Bajo ninguna circunstancia almacenamos datos personales o datos que le permitan ser identificado, junto con estas fotografías. Sus fotografías no están vinculadas a sus datos personales, sino a una identificación que no lo identifica ni lo identifica.
Información recopilada automáticamente
La aplicación recopila información del dispositivo utilizado por los usuarios solo con el objetivo de garantizar el correcto funcionamiento de la reconstrucción 3D del pie. La información recopilada solo se utiliza para este propósito y no se comparte con terceros.
- Información del dispositivo. Recopilamos información sobre la marca y modelo del smartphone. Recopilamos información sobre el sistema operativo del teléfono inteligente y su versión. Esta información se recopila con el único objetivo de mejorar el servicio en caso de que detectemos un problema con alguna versión específica de cualquier dispositivo o una versión de cualquier sistema operativo.
- No pedimos tu país; Lo obtenemos de la dirección IP cuando se utilizan nuestros servicios. La dirección IP no se almacena en ningún momento.
- Información de uso y registro. Recopilamos información relacionada exclusivamente con el uso de la aplicación. Esto incluye el resultado de la reconstrucción 3D del pie y sus medidas antropométricas, información sobre el mal funcionamiento de la aplicación y el diagnóstico de dichos malfuncionamientos.
- No utilizamos cookies para el funcionamiento de la aplicación.
Información de terceros
- Información del usuario proporcionada por otros. No utilizamos ninguna información sobre usted obtenida de terceros.
- Servicios de terceros. Solo usamos el servicio de reconstrucción de pies Avatar3D. Puede consultar la Política de privacidad del servicio Avatar3D en Política de privacidad Servicio Avatar3D

Utilizamos toda la información que recopilamos únicamente para garantizar el correcto funcionamiento de la aplicación.
Gestión de la información
La información recopilada por la aplicación se utiliza con el único objetivo de garantizar el correcto funcionamiento de la reconstrucción del pie 3D. La información recopilada solo se utiliza para este propósito y no se comparte con terceros.
Legislación y protección.
Podemos recopilar, usar, preservar y compartir su información si creemos de buena fe que es razonablemente necesario hacerlo para: (a) responder de acuerdo con las leyes o regulaciones, procesos legales o solicitudes gubernamentales; (b) hacer cumplir nuestros Términos y condiciones o cualquier otro término o política aplicable, incluida la investigación de cualquier posible violación de los mismos; (c) detectar, investigar, prevenir y abordar el fraude y otras actividades ilegales, o cualquier problema técnico o de seguridad; o (d) proteger los derechos, la propiedad y la seguridad de nuestros usuarios.
Nuestras operaciones globales
Usted acepta nuestras prácticas de información, que incluyen la recopilación, el uso y el procesamiento de la información, tal como se describe en esta Política de privacidad, así como la transferencia y el procesamiento general de su información en los Estados Unidos y en otros países en los que tenemos o utilizamos instalaciones. , servidores, proveedores de servicios o socios, independientemente de dónde utilice nuestros Servicios. Actualizaciones a nuestra política.
Podemos modificar o actualizar nuestra Política de Privacidad. Actualizaremos la fecha de «Última actualización» en la parte superior de esta Política de privacidad. Al continuar utilizando la aplicación, usted confirma que acepta nuestra Política de privacidad, con cualquier modificación. Si no está de acuerdo con nuestra Política de privacidad y sus modificaciones, debe dejar de usar la aplicación. Por favor revise nuestra Política de Privacidad de vez en cuando.
Información sobre protección de datos
Responsable del tratamiento: El responsable del tratamiento de los datos personales recogidos a través de este formulario es la ASOCIACION INSTITUTO DE BIOMECANICA DE VALENCIA (en adelante IBV), con domicilio en Camino de Vera s/n, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Edificio 9c, 46022 Valencia y/o dirección electrónica de contacto ibv@ibv.org
Fines y base jurídica: La finalidad de la recogida de los datos e información sobre el/la Interesado/a es la reconstrucción del pie en 3D a que se refiere este proyecto. La base jurídica del tratamiento de los datos es el contrato o relación establecida, el consentimiento del Interesado/a, en su caso, y el interés legítimo.
Destinatarios: Pueden ser categorías de destinatarios terceras entidades para fines de investigación o de I+D+I. No se producen transferencias internacionales de datos a terceros.
Derechos: Acceso, rectificación, cancelación o supresión y oposición, limitación del tratamiento, revocación del consentimiento, que pueden ejercitarse en las direcciones abajo expuestas.
